I’m Carrie Hays, a travel advisor based in Lexington, Kentucky, working with clients nationwide. My specialties are multigenerational trips, luxury hotels, luxury cruises, and yacht vacations.
No planning or booking fees. I am compensated by travel suppliers after travel.

I generally book flights as part of a larger trip. I’m also happy to help you find the best flight options for your itinerary, and you can book them yourself if you prefer, including with points. My preference is to use points for flights rather than hotels, while comparing the value of the specific redemption.

Tell me what matters.
Share your dates, who is traveling, departure cities, comfortable budget range, and what you hope to experience. Tell me about room preferences, mobility or dietary needs, and anything that has worked especially well on past trips.
We begin with a conversation to understand the priorities. You do not need to arrive with every decision made.
Compare a focused set of options.
I help narrow the choices and explain the differences in fit, location, rooms, travel pace, inclusions, and costs. My recommendations draw on your preferences, supplier conversations, and LuxRally’s advisor resources.
We look at the total value of an option, including relevant benefits and booking terms, rather than the room or cabin price alone.
Review and approve the arrangements.
Before you commit, we review the selected arrangements, prices, payment deadlines, and applicable cancellation or change terms. I coordinate the bookings you approve and help keep the confirmations and next steps clear.
Prepare for the trip.
We work through the remaining details, including the transfers, arrival arrangements, activities, and requests that are part of your plan. I remain a point of contact before and during travel.

Costs & payment terms
I never charge planning or booking fees. The trip itself still has supplier charges, which may include deposits, final payments, taxes, resort fees, or optional extras. We review the applicable costs and terms for the arrangements you choose.
I can arrange for separate households to pay individually for a shared trip. Let me know which travelers belong to each household so I can coordinate their payments and explain the relevant deposits and deadlines.
Benefits & special requests
Hotel benefits depend on the property, rate, and program. I clarify which benefits are included and which depend on availability. A requested upgrade, early check-in, or room connection should not be treated as confirmed unless the provider confirms it.

Send the hotel or sailing, dates, room or cabin category, and the offer you are considering. I can review the available booking options before you commit. If you have already booked, tell me where and when; whether I can assist with an existing reservation depends on the supplier and booking terms.
Before and during travel
A person who knows your itinerary.
All of my clients have my cell number and can reach me during evenings and weekends. If I am unavailable while you are traveling, I have a backup contact for travel support.
If a reservation needs attention or a supplier changes an arrangement, I can help communicate with the provider and work through the available options. Any refunds, changes, or replacement arrangements depend on the provider’s terms and availability.
